The Fluid Thought into Action workshop is really fun one since what you do is just putting the pencil or charcoal into the paper, no ruler or other equipment require. However, while you do that you should really see the object as 3 tones (light, mid and dark tone) in order to get the 3D shape of the object. That is the first point that I really picked up in this Workshop. Other things would be how to draw the live object but getting the scale right without any ruler or measuring tape going on. It really train you visualisation in order to get things right.
